Principal's message

Welcome to Newport Public School – a place where together we CARE, we learn and we shine.

Nestled between Pittwater and the ocean, Newport is a bright, warm and inclusive community where students, staff and families work as one. We believe every child can succeed, and we hold high expectations for learning, wellbeing and personal growth.

Our culture is built on a shared belief that everyone, students, staff and families, bring unique strengths and perspectives. We celebrate our differences and recognise our shared need for belonging, achievement, choice and joy. Strong relationships grounded in trust and respect, guide everything we do and reflect our collective commitment to what is best for our students.

Student learning and wellbeing sit at the heart of our school. Our dedicated staff bring expertise, enthusiasm and care to every classroom, supported by a culture of teamwork, professional growth and attention to staff wellbeing. Together with our families, P&C and community partners, we create a safe, supportive and inspiring environment where children thrive.
